Amagande Rules
The game is played with a standard 52-card deck plus 2 Jokers. A reference suit is randomly chosen at the start of the game.
Special Cards & Effects
- 2: Forces the next player to draw 2 cards unless countered by a 2, 3 of the same suit, Joker of the same color, or Ace of Spades.
- 3: Forces the next player to draw 3 cards unless countered by a 3, 2 of the same suit, Joker of the same color, or Ace of Spades.
- 8: Skips the next player's turn (in 2-player, the current player plays again).
- J (Jack): Reverses turn order (in 2-player, acts like Skip).
- 7 (of reference suit): Triggers an elimination check. Players with special cards (Aces, Jokers) or card sum > 30 are eliminated.
- Joker: Wild card that forces the next player to draw 5 cards unless countered by another Joker, A♠, or matching color 2/3. Red Joker works for Hearts/Diamonds, black for Clubs/Spades. Jokers counter each other.
- Ace: Wild card that allows the player to choose a new suit (acts normally if not blocking).
- Ace of Spades: Special card that blocks any draw card effect (2, 3, Joker). If not blocking, acts like a regular Ace. After blocking, the next player can play *any* card.
Card Values for Summation
- 2 = 20 points
- 3 = 30 points
- 4-10 = Face value
- J = 13 points
- Q = 12 points
- K = 14 points
- A = 11 points (Ace of Spades = 60 points)
- Joker = 50 points
Elimination Rules (When 7 of reference suit is played)
- Any player with an Ace or Joker is eliminated.
- A player with only a 3 is safe.
- A player with a 2 is safe if the sum of other cards ≤ 10.
- Any player with card sum > 30 is eliminated.
- If both players are eliminated, the player with the lower card sum wins.
- If neither player is eliminated and sums are equal, the player who played the 7 loses.
Gameplay
- Players take turns playing a card that matches the suit or rank of the top discard, or a required color/suit if applicable.
- A player plays by clicking on the highlighted card they want to play.
- If unable to play or got a penalty, the player draws a card by clicking the deck.
- If a player draws a card and chooses not to play it, they must click "Allow AI to Play" to continue.
- The game ends when a player plays their last card or through elimination after a 7 of reference suit is played.
Normal Cards Rules
The game is played with a 36-card deck (A, 7, K, J, Q, 6, 5, 4, 3). Each player is dealt 4 cards. A "Main Card" is revealed at the start and placed under the deck face-up. The suit of this Main Card is the Trump Suit for the entire game.
Point Values (Big to Small)
- A (Ace): 11 points
- 7: 10 points
- K (King): 4 points
- J (Jack): 3 points
- Q (Queen): 2 points
- 6, 5, 4, 3: 0 points (Supporter cards)
Gameplay Rules & Examples
- 4 cards are dealt to everyone at the start. 2, 8, 9, 10, and Jokers are completely removed!
- You are free to play any card you want at any point from your hand, but you should prioritize to win.
- The person who wins the round is the one to draw first from the stock pile, and then gets to play first.
- This repeats until there is no card left to draw. After every card is played, the game will automatically draw until there are no cards left!
- Trick Evaluation Example: Let's suppose the main card revealed (which can't be A or 7) is SPADES. If you play an Ace of Hearts, and the next player plays a 3 of Spades, they win since they played the trump! If you play a King of Hearts and the next player plays a 7 of Hearts, the 7 wins since it is a higher pointed card!
- The game ends when all cards are completed. The points are calculated at the end of the match.
